I. Project Development

Multinational clients benefit from MTCCs' careful identification of project and investment opportunities in Vietnam, particularly matching clients' specializations with priority sectors in the countries. MTCC then works with clients, relevant government ministries and funding organizations to design, develop and gain approvals for projects uniquely developed for our clients.

These projects may be of various kinds: Infrastructure projects calling for international bidding or negotiation, local manufacturing or export oriented units, joint ventures with local governments, state-owned enterprises or private companies; projects on a BOT or BOO basis; funding through private financial consortiums and, occasionally, through the participation of multilateral funding organizations.

II. Tenders

MTCC facilitates multinational corporations in the entire process of acquiring and bidding for tenders, negotiating and winning projects in various sectors, particularly for infrastructure projects.

Basic Tender Services include the following:

  • Identify tenders appropriate for the client, including: bilaterally financed , multilaterally financed tenders (USAID, JICA, AFD, ADB, EIB,KfW,World Bank etc), local government or private tenders.
  • Purchase and send tender documents to client.
  • Obtain technical and commercial points of clarification on project for client.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and report to the client.
  • Represent client at bid opening events and report to the client.

Comprehensive Tender Services

In addition to the above, more extensive services to assist clients effectively compete and win project tenders are available. These include the following pre-bid, post-bid and post-contract award services.

  • Coordinate client presentations and workshops for relevant local decision-makers to understand and appreciate our clients' products and services in advance of tender bids.
  • Arrange client delegation travel and logistics to meet their local customers and for technical teams to visit and evaluate project sites.
  • Provide information on competitors.
  • Provide operational information on local costs, operating conditions, laws, duties, tariffs and logistics.
  • Identify and introduce local sub-contractors necessary to implement the client's project.

Upon our clients being selected, MTCC provides extensive support in contract negotiations, follow-up and in project implementation through arranging local support services.
